I recently stumbled over this creative way of letting people know how screwed up our economic system is in certain areas!
This young lady explains to us the "story of stuff". Stuff, right. All the STUFF we eat, need and throw away and that is produced fast and unclean and in most cases in a far to high quantity, so that a lot of "stuff" is thrown into the garbage before even being used somehow.
Quite shocking: on its way of production, our stuff eats the environment of parts of this planet that don't belong to us. But who cares, we never get to see and feel it anyway.

Or do we?

Well, good - and relieving - thing about this little film is the message at the end: some of us are actually aware of what is going on and try to do something against it. And not only some... it's getting more and more each day and their actions actually have impact! Phew.
Oh, and its not so hard to become one of them. First step: be aware and handle your "stuff" carefully.
What I also like about the movie is the fact that she's not really acting like a teacher or even "warning" us and blame US for what WE do, speaking with a scary, sad voice... instead, her rather childish and innocent way of uncovering the whole story is fun to watch and makes you think in the same way.
